Treating Scorpion Stings at Home Effectively.

Scorpions are nocturnal anthropoids that are noted for their painful and venomous stings. A scorpion stings to capture prey or to defend itself. When scorpions bite us, there is usually severe pain and inflammation at the site. If the sting is from a very venomous scorpion, there will also be numbness or tingling sensations, profuse sweating, increased heart rates and muscle jerking. Scorpion stings can cause allergic reactions and are sometimes fatal, especially among children.
There are effective and cheap home remedies to treat scorpion bites which have been used traditionally for centuries.

Below are some of the common home cures which help to rid your body of the poison and reduce pain;

1.       Onions: Mash up some onions and apply the paste to the sting site, using a piece of cloth or band         aid to hold it in place. Chew raw onions immediately after the bite.
2.       Baking Soda: Make a paste with water and apply to the sting site.
3.       Basil Leaves or Root: Mash up the leaves into a paste or grate the root to a paste and apply to the         affected area.
4.       Garlic: Grate some garlic cloves and apply the paste to the affected area.
5.       Mint: Mash up the leaves and apply as a paste to the sting area.
6.       Radish: Use as a paste.
7.       Mango Leaf Sap: Apply to the sting site.
8.       Pawpaw: Use the fruit latex on the sting area.
9.       Frankincense: Grind and make a paste to apply to the sting site.
10.   Alum: Grind some alum and make into a paste with water to apply to the affected area.
