Warts are small, raised growths on the skin that are usually
caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They can be spread from one part of
the body to another or from somebody else.
Warts can be a source of embarrassment especially when they
occur on the face. Home remedies for warts are cheap and effective. Here are
some good home remedies to help in getting rid of them.
1.
Apple Cider Vinegar; Mix 5ml of apple cider
vinegar with 10ml of water. Put some on cotton wool and place on top of the
wart. Secure with a band aid, leave for about 2 hours and wash off. Do this
once or twice a day until the wart blisters and falls off.
2.
Baking Soda; Make a paste and put on the wart,
covering with a band aid.
3.
Garlic; Crush a clove of garlic and apply on the
wart. Do this often until the wart falls off.
4. Vitamin C; Grind some vitamin C tablets and make
into a paste which you should apply to the wart. Leave on for about 20 to 30
minutes and repeat often until you achieve your desired results.
5.
Turmeric and Castor Oil Paste; Apply this paste
on the wart
6.
Basil Leaves; Crush some basil leaves and place
on the wart, securing with a band aid.
7.
Banana Peel; Cut a small piece of banana peel,
place the inner side on the wart securing with a band aid and leave overnight.
Repeat until the wart goes off.
8.
Pawpaw Sap or Latex; Mix the sap with some water
and apply to the wart 2 or 3 times daily.
9.
Pineapple Juice; Use to swab the wart 2 to 3
times daily.
10.
Honey; dab some honey on the wart and cover with
a band aid overnight.
By using any of the above treatments, your wart will begin
to blister and fall off within a week or two
