Call it acne, pimples, breakouts, spots or whatever; nobody likes it on their skin. In my own definition, it is a frustratingly pesky, chronic, common skin condition that nobody loves, wants or needs. People who have this condition for years would have tried every possible treatment (oftentimes expensive and harsh) and remedy with frustrating results. But, never fear or panic, you can get remedy from using natural treatments.
Acne leaves scarring, inflammation and redness of skin. The two main causes of acne are:
• Hormonal imbalances that cause sebum (the oil that keeps the skin supple and smooth) to clog up the skin pores
• Infection by bacteria.
Using a natural approach to combat acne is a gentler option. For your natural treatment to be effective, it should contain these three active ingredients with their healing properties below:
Antioxidants to fight oxidative stress.
Anti-inflammatory to fight inflammation, swelling, irritation and redness
Antibacterial to kill bacteria.
You should also include natural products that have the ability to:
Normalize skin oil production.
Exfoliate the skin.
Remove dead skin cells.
Dry up excess skin oil (Astrigents)
Here are my top ten easily available, cheap and effective natural products that you can use alone or in combination.

I must mention bicarbonate of soda b itself. It is a wonderful cure-all ingredient that I will be writing about later. Mix it with water and use as a face mask. Other effective natural products are mint, sulphur, cornstarch, coconut oil, green tea and oil, cinnamon and the list is endless.
Include these natural ingredients in your daily beauty regime and have a smoother, healthier and blemish free skin.
