Cameroon pepper is yellow in colour when fresh but turns brown when dried. Like all peppers, Cameroon pepper contains capsaicin, an active component that is responsible for its hotness and most of its medicinal properties. Though it is commonly used for culinary purposes, Cameroon pepper has the following medicinal properties;
