Respiratory issues and diseases are those of the airways and other lung structures. Some of the most common ones are listed below.

- Sinusitis is the inflammation of the air cavities within the passages of the nose. This can be caused by infection, allergies or substances that can irritate the sinuses, leading to inflammation.
Most chronic conditions are characterised by the inflammatory response of the body. Chronic inflammation damages cells unless the cause of the response is removed.
